Beat UConn!

This week: Dan and Rob get together to talk Army Football! The guys talk a bit about Army-Navy, both on the field and at USAA’s Media Row event. They then ask, “What was this team’s ceiling, anyway?” After the break, the Crew previews this weekend’s monster match-up at the Fenway Bowl against UConn. They get […]

Rob and Dan discuss the Transfer Portal, recap the semifinal round of the College Football Playoff, wonder if some national media personalities don’t maybe belong on work farms in Siberia, and then preview the Quarterfinal Bowl Games.

Army-Navy Interviews, Part 2

Interviews in this block include the social media sensation Annie Agar, former Green Beret/NFL Long Snapper Nate Boyer, former NFL player turned CBS Commentator Bryan Keith Jones, the Voice of Army Football, Rich DeMarco, the Supe LTG Steve Gilland, Army AD Tom Theodorakis.

We got better over the course of the day at doing these, so the audio on this second set should sound way better, too. These later interviews were all AWESOME. Enjoy!

Army-Navy Interviews, Part 1

The AFF Crew went to Baltimore to participate in Media Row this week. We did a whole series of interviews, learning a lot and talking a lot about the Army-Navy Game. Fair warning: we experienced a bit of discovery learning through this process, so the audio quality starts a little rough. We got better as […]

BEAT NAVY!!!

Captain Cons joins us this week to talk about Army’s season, playcalling, weapons in the passing game, and the upcoming Army-Navy Game. We then break down Army’s invitation to play in the Fenway Bowl and talk a bit about the impending match-up with UConn. We close the top half of the show with a little Roundtable action as Triggered Joe joins us to hand out a very special Blue Falcon of the Week.

After the break, we dive deep into the numbers on Army-Navy. We preview the Squids’ offense, defense, and special team and discuss what the Black Knights must do to pull an upset this weekend in Baltimore. We close the show with a little Fact or Fiction and with a brief discussion of our plans for USAA’s Media Row this coming Friday morning and afternoon.

We had a GREAT show this week, friends. Check it out!

College Football Roundtable: Championship Week

We reviewed the week that was, handed out our weekly awards, and talked quite a lot about who would make it into the College Football Playoff. In the show’s second half, we previewed the Championship Games, gave our leans, and then closed it up with our patented Locks of the Week. It’s BEAT NAVY season, […]

Bowling, Baby!

Army got a big win in San Antonio to close the season bowl-eligible and head into Army-navy with some real momentum.

This week, we talk about the big win over UTSA, hand out our Weekly Awards, and speculate on then let Omar speculate at length about bowl destinations. We then preview the American Conference Championship Game and talk through some of the coaching chaos hitting the conference.

We close with a little Fact or Fiction and a quick dip into the Mailbag.

It’s BEAT NAVY Season, people.

Go Army! BEAT Navy!!!

Beat UTSA!

This week: Army took a tough home loss on Senior Day to Tulsa. James and Dan talk about what went right and where it all fell apart and discuss the difference between playcalling mistakes and simple execution errors when a game comes apart in the fourth quarter. We close the top half of the show with a brief discussion of Army’s chances at a bowl game.

Then we’re on to UTSA! The Roadrunners have a GREAT team, at least at home. We preview the game and talk about what has to happen for the Black Knights to have a chance this week. Then it’s time for Fact or Fiction and, of course, a few questions from our Mailbag.

That was a tough loss, but this was a good show. Check it out!
