#10/#11 Army Men’s Lacrosse opened its season with a good-looking win against UMass this past weekend at Michie Stadium. The Black Knights got off to a hot start, going up 6-2 off a 4-goal run in the 1st that damn-near put away early. But UMass came back in the 3rd to make it a contest, […]
Army’s Lacrosse teams open their seasons tomorrow afternoon. The Men host UMass at Michie Stadium, starting at noon. The Women are at #22/#22 Temple, starting at 1 pm. ESPN+ has both broadcasts. Men vs. UMass Army Men’s Lax sets two goals every season — to win the Patriot League and to qualify for the NCAA […]
Friends, this ought to be one Hell of an exciting season for Army Men’s Lacrosse. The Black Knights enter the 2022 season ranked 10th by Inside Lacrosse and ranked 13th by USA Lacrosse. They return fully nineteen firsties this year, including two preseason All-American picks, three preseason All-Patriot League picks, and at least five returning […]
The last time I watched Army Football from the press box, I was covering the Black Knights for WKDT. This time, yours truly is a little older (and heavier) and covering the team for As For Football. I covered the Armed Forces Bowl in 2017 when Army won the game on a gutsy two point-conversion […]
Your Army Black Knights had a tough task this week. Maybe the toughest of the season. They had to regroup and refocus coming off a bad loss to Navy, take Term End Exams, and then prep for a bowl game against a talented SEC opponent — all in less than two weeks. The good news […]

Well here it is, folks. The most important game of the season is upon us. In case you need reminding, here’s what’s at stake. Army can beat Navy for the 5th time in the last 6 years, win the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy outright for the 4th time in 5 years, keep alive the possibility of a […]
It’s Championship Weekend, friends. I mean, I get that a lot of casual fans are all, “Power 5 or Bust,” but I’m telling you, WKU […]
